| If you've read our story
about Hope, you know a little bit about the International Doodle
Owner's Group (IDOG) and
all the wonderful rescue work that they do. In 2007,
IDOG rescued 157 Labradoodles and other types of doodles,
and assisted in another 950 doodle rescues and/or rehomes.
This work is funded mainly by donations from doodle lovers
worldwide. Here at Cedar Hill, we've started a new program to
help raise funds for IDOG, so many more lost or abandoned
Labradoodles and Goldendoodles can find loving homes.
Here's how the program
works. Now and then we'll select one of
our available puppies to be in the Lucky Puppy
Program. Once a family is approved to add that puppy
to their home, they will make a donation to IDOG of a
predetermined amount. We will reduce the price of
the puppy by the amount donated.
The family benefits by making a
tax-deductible donation - IDOG is an IRS designated
not-for-profit group and all donations are eligible to be
deducted as charitable contributions. Our puppy has
a great new home and some lucky puppy in need will be
assisted by the wonderful people at IDOG.
Please note: you must
complete our puppy application and be approved by us before
you make your donation to IDOG.
We are encouraging other doodle
breeders to start similar programs. Breeders:
email us if you have questions or comments.
